My day job is working in a mental health Urgent Care Clinic. I have "adventures" there. Gallows humorIs the stuff of survival. The knitting, reading, drawing, dogs, doing things with my significant other, dreaming about Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands are the stuff of my own survival. Here is my story. I only hope is that I can find the words to tell it.

I have always known that archioligits search the garbage heaps of societies past, because they are rich in artifacts that tell the tale of the society they are studying. I study the marginal and disturbed people of our society, essentially our throw away pwople, 'to see who we are as a society.
